Miguel Xavier presents debut album at World Music Day

Miguel Xavier was born in 1995, in Guimarães. Fado came to his life very early, by the hand of his paternal grandmother, who decorated his childhood with the records of the fado universe biggest references.

At the age of 14 Miguel Xavier sings for the first time accompanied “à guitarra e à viola”. In 2017 presents at the Room2 of Casa da Música, at a solo concert integrated in the cicle “Novos Valores do Fado”. In the same year he took part in Festival Caixa Alfama, with a presentation in his own name at Palco Tofa, in Sociedade Boa União, Alfama.

Miguel Xavier chose the World Music Day, October 1st, in Mosteiro São Bento da Vitória, to present for the first time the fados of his record (with edition on november 2nd), at a concert entitled "Em Fio Breve O Coração - Uma Noite de Fado em Fado", with staging of Nuno Carinhas where we can listen Alexandre O'Neil or Manuela de Freitas, Mário Laginha or Luís Figueiredo, in a perfect symbiosis materialized in the voice and fado of this young boy that only could be fadista.
